Yee Bon  余本 pinyin Yu Ben

   

1905

Yee Bon  余本 ( 1905-1995 ) was born in Taishan, Guangdong Province  China.

   

1918

He moved to live in Canada with his uncle.
   

1928

He studied in Winnipeg, Manitoba Province.
   

 

He continued his studies at Ontario provincial College of Art.

  Graduated, he participated in many National and International
  exhibitions.
   

1935

He left Canada to open a studio in Hong Kong, and devote himself to Art.
  He joined Hong Kong Art Club.
   

1952

With Li Bing and Chen Fushan ( 1905-1995 ), he  founded Hong Kong Art Society.

   

1956

He retuned to settle in Guangzhou and painted large oil paintings, portraits
  and life style natures.
   

1995

He passed away at the age of 90 years.
