Yee Bon 余本 ( 1905-1995 ) was born in Taishan, Guangdong Province China.

1918
|
He moved to live in Canada with his uncle. |
|
|
1928
|
He studied in Winnipeg, Manitoba Province. |
|
|
|
He continued his studies at Ontario provincial College of Art.
|
|
Graduated, he participated in many National and International |
|
exhibitions. |
|
|
1935
|
He left Canada to open a studio in Hong Kong, and devote himself to Art. |
|
He joined Hong Kong Art Club. |
|
|
1952
|
With Li Bing and Chen Fushan ( 1905-1995 ), he founded Hong Kong Art Society.
|
|
|
1956
|
He retuned to settle in Guangzhou and painted large oil paintings, portraits |
|
and life style natures. |
|
|
1995
|
He passed away at the age of 90 years. |
