Xie Rong 谢蓉 aka Echo Morgan was born in Chengdu China.

She studied at the Higher School of the Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts.

Moved to live in London, United Kingdom, she entered Central Saint Martins,

| |
and obtained a Bachelor of Art ( Graphic Design Department )
|
| |
|
|
|
She continued her studies at the Royal College of Art in London
|
|
|
and graduated with a Master in Art. ( Fine Arts Department )
|
| |
|
| |
Multidisciplinary artist, she uses her body during performances, to relate
|
| |
her own experience, with texts written in ink on her skin.
|

She began collaborating with the photographer Jamie Baker for some of

her performances.
