Li Huayi 李華弌 was born in Shanghai China. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
1954 |
He learned the traditional ink painting, under the guidance of Wang Jimei. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
1964 |
He studied western painting and drawing with Zhang Chongren. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
DurIng the Cultural Revolution, he worked as a propaganda artist then he traveled |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
through the Anhui Province, to the famous Huangshan Mountains, then to the Buddhist |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
caves of Dunhuang, in the Gansu ProvInce. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
1982 |
He moved to the United States, settled in San Francisco, and contiued his studies |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
at the Academy of Art University. |

He graduated with a Master's degree ( Fine-Arts ) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
