Kwok Mang Ho 郭孟浩 aka Frog King was born in Guangdong Province China. |

He grew up in Hong Kong. |

He studied Art at Grantham College of Education, under the guidance of Lui Shou Kwan |

( the New Ink Painting Master ) |
|
| He also took courses àt the University. | |
|
- Conceptual artist - Performance artist - Installation artist. |
|
|
He explores the use of ink paint by incorporating it as both action and material. |
|
|
He began working with everyday objects, various materials and collages. |
|
|
|

He used plastic bags for his creative projects ( installations - performances ) |
|
and positioned them : |

in a 3D dimensional installation in a public space in Toronto - Plastic Bags project |

1979 |
on Tiananmen Square and along The Great Wall - Plastic Bags Happenings |

1980 |
Graduated, he moved to the United States and studied at The Art Students League |

of New York and he immersed himself in the street Art trend. |

After fifteen years in the United States he returned to Hong Kong. |

2001 |
He was Director of the Frog King Museum at the Cattle Depot artists' village. |

|

2011 |
He presented Frogtopia-Hongkorucopia at the 54th Venice Biennale. |

He founded the Frog King Kwok Foundation. |
