Kacey Wong 黄国才 was born in Hong Kong.
|
|
|
|
|
|
- He studied Architecture at Cornell University in New York and obtained a Bachelor.
|
| |
He worked several years as an independent architect in the fields of graphic, interior |
| |
and architectural Design. |
| |
|
| |
- He joined the United Kingdom, to study at Chelsea College of Arts, in London,
|
| |
where he received his Master of Fine Arts degree.
|
| |
|
|
1998
|
- He returned to Hong Kong and taught at the Chinese University.
|
| |
|
|
2003
|
He obtained his PhD in Fine-Arts from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. |
| |
|
| |
As an Artist, he explores political and environmental issues, through his art :
|
| |
( Installations - performances - sculptures ).
|
| |
|
|
2008
|
His installation Wandering Home, a mobil home ( on city living and the homeless )
|
| |
was shown at the Venice Biennial of Architecture. |
| |
|
| |
Paddling Home, a floating house symbolizing Hong Kong's real estate market was

|
|
selected at the Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi City Biennial of Urbanism Architecture
|
| |
|
|
2019 -2020
|
Next to a red-barred prison, dressed as a policeman, baton in hand main, he arrests

| |
participants in the pro-democracy. |

2021

He emigrated toTaiwan due to repression in Hong Kong .
