Jiao Shitai 焦士太 was born in Pi County, Jiangsu Province China. |

He studied calligraphy, painting and epigraphy, in the Zhu Pinsan private School . |
|||||||||||||||||
|
1949 |
He moved to study at Taiwan Art Academy. | ||||||||||||||||
| He graduated with a Bachelor ( Art Department ) | |||||||||||||||||
|
1953 |
He studied the theory of painting under the guidance of Li Zheng-Sheng , |
||||||||||||||||
|
and began to create modern artistic creations. |
|||||||||||||||||
|
Wishing to revitalize the artistic spirit of the Orient, with a group of friends, |
|||||||||||||||||
|
he founded the Changhe Art Center, dedicated to modern Chinese painting |
|||||||||||||||||
|
and the search for new ideas. |
