	Lim Tze Peng 林子平 pinyin Lin Ziping
1923	Lim Tze Peng 林子平 was born on September 28, in Singapore, in a family of farmers.
	He was the eldest of seven children.

	He studied at Guangyang Primary School, then at Chung Cheng High School,
	where he developed his passion for calligraphy.

1949	He began teaching.

1951	He became the headmaster of the school.
	As self-taught artist he continued his practice of Art with chinese ink drawings,
	paintings exuding a contemporary feel, as well as colorful calligraphy.

1960/1970	He participated in field trips around the Southeast Asian region with Ten Men Art group,
	to gain inspiration.

1981	On retirement, he devoted himself entirely to calligraphy and painting.
