Wei Hongyan  韦红燕 was born in September, in Beijing.

Her family was from Shaanxi Province.

She studied at Beijing Normal University.

She graduated with a Master's degree ( Fine Arts department ) and started

teaching.

Her works participated in numerous National Art exhibitions.

She lives and works in Beijing as a doctoral professor and director of

the Chinese Painting,  at the Institute of Fine Arts of the Normal University

of the Capital.
