Cheng Shan-Hsi  郑善禧 pinyin Zheng Shanxi  

1932

Cheng Shan-Hsi  郑善禧 was born in Fujian province  China.

 

 

 

He moved to Taiwan at a very early age.

 

 

1960

He graduated from the National Normal School of Taiwan, where he taught later.

 

 

1968

With He Huaishuo, Chu Ge, Huang Zhaohu, and Lo Ching ( Pinyin Luo Qing ), he founded

 

the Ink Painting Society, which played a role in promoting the movement of abstract ink

 

painting.

   

1983

He travelled to India and Nepal and brought back many paintings.
