Fung Ming-Chip 馮明秋 was born in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province China.
|
|
At the end of primary school, he started working.
|
|
|
1977
|
He moved to the United States, and settled in New York.
|
|
|
|
- As a self-taught artist, he began by studying the sculptures of seals and calligraphy.
|
|
He reinvented calligraphy by deconstructing existing scripts and creating his own
|
|
Script style.
|
|
|
1986
|
He lived between New York, Taipei and Hong Kong.
|
|
|
1999
|
A retrospective of his works took place at the Museum of Fine Arts in Taipei..
