1953

Wong Wa  王華 was born in Fujian Province  China.

   
 

Attracted by the visual arts since adolescence, he learned from artists :

 

painting - calligraphy - engraving on seals - sculpture - Western painting.

   
 

He graduated from Fine Arts of China.

   
 

He worked for four years at the Fuzhou Municipal Cultural Center.

   

1978

He moved to Hong Kong.

   
 

  - He worked in advertising (cinema posters) for Hong Kongaise production.

 

  - He continued to deepen his knowledge on calligraphy and seals.

 

  - He regularly published on the subject, a chronicle in a review.

 

  - He was a professor at the Hong Kong School of Fine Arts.

   

1980

First series of Sculptures.

   

1984

He moved to France.

   
 

 - Multi-disciplinary artist, he uses very varied means of expression:

 

  -  Calligraphy - Indian inks - Paintings - Collages - Ceramics - Masks

 

 Seals  -  Paper cutouts - Sculptures.

 

  - He teaches Chinese calligraphy and painting, in various establishments

 

in the city of Paris.

   
 

He lives and works in Paris  France.
