Wang Yiming 王义明 was born in Liuyang, Hunan Province China.

He studied at the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and obtained a Master's degree.

1987
|
He left for the first time, to draw from morning to night, in the remote mountains
|
| |
of Tibet.
|
| |
Since then, he went there every year, to spend one or two months.
|
|
|
|
| |
Like the Tibetans who perform the ritual of the Kora, during their pilgrimageses,
|
| |
Wang Yiping refers to his artistic travels as Kora.
|
| |
|
|
2018
|
He was the head of the Art project : Shanghai Art Fair.

In order to promote environmental protection, and to change people's behavior
|
|
|
he planned dragging 81 colored flags, tibetan Symbols ( painted canvas 15m x 3m )
|
| |
around the foot of Mount Everest.
|
| |
|

To support the Shang and Canton-Sardine Foundation and to promote artistic

exchanges between China and Canada, he donated 15 pieces works from his
|
|
|
exhibition : Flag On The Other Coast , in Vancouver Canada |
